The FBI has a new Director, Kash Patel. American security agencies and elites have spent three months struggling against the plans to appoint him. Well, there is no surprise here: Patel joins the Bureau to make a revolution and disclose U.S. dirtiest secrets. Can it happen indeed?
Following long disputes and scandals, the U.S. Senate finally agreed with Donald Trump’s decision and approved Kash Patel’s nomination as FBI Director with 51 votes versus 49. This might bring about a revolution at the Bureau.
The new director has promised to dismiss everyone involved in the investigation against Trump and his supporters, ‘to drain the swamp’, build a ‘deep state’ museum on the place of the Hoover house, set up a declassification office, release ‘the Epstein files’ (child trafficker for paedophiles from the global elite) with all names detailed, and much more. Things won’t be boring.
Kashyap Pramod Vinod ‘Kash’ Patel is a prominent lawyer and a die-hard trumpist, even if his words and deeds do often look purely scandalous.
For example, he wrote a kid’s tale about the good Donald the King who hired an Indian wizard to be his chief magician. Well, this is too much, of course, but Patel the lawyer, is good at what he is doing.
He was the one playing the key role to discredit charges against Trump during the first election campaign and the FBI’s actions in the same period. He also, allegedly, was behind the so-called ‘Nunes Memo’ (Patel worked as an aide to Devin Nunes, a former Congress member): this document literally ruined the strategy to denigrate Trump. By the way, the document was based not on rhetorical figures, rather on the numerous identified FBI’s legal malpractices and violations.
Earlier, Patel used to work in the notorious Miami-Dade county as a defender focusing on major crimes. An experience to learn what life can be like. His plans to disclose the Epstein files, demolish the FBI building, finalize the Kennedy assassination case, find conspirators in the media and in government, break open the so-called Russia Gate are not that populist a utopia they might seem.
Trump and Patel can make such a revolution. Their ideas look like conspiracy only as a contrast against the established ‘Washington swamp’ background. For decades, the left liberal narrative was broadcast by every outlet in U.S. and Europe (from ‘the most free media globally’ to the Hollywood) as the only fair dogma while other ideas were declared ‘marginal’ and ‘conspirational’.
At 2024 election, it suddenly became known that U.S. has more supporters of alternative views than mainstream left liberals. And they won, getting an unlimited capacity to promote their opinion over global politics. However, public consciousness was so much hurt by the decades of the leftist propaganda that it is surprised to see what is going on today. ‘How come! Could it be done so?’
It turns out it could and it should, the winners from the Trump team believe. The opponents of the new president call Patel ‘a disaster’ and ‘an executioner’, but his views are very well fitting the so-called return to normalcy. This means removing far-fetched left liberal ideas from public life and, therefore, those public bodies transferring them. If someone needs to be sacked for this, then Patel is ‘an executioner’. If it is necessary to bring down the FBI building, Patel is there to operate a bulldozer.
There is an opinion that, by doing this, Trump is taking his revenge on those having caused problems for him during the election campaigns and the first presidential term. Maybe, yes. But his revenge also fits a broader context: U.S. cannot revitalize its public life without disrupting the current FBI system.
Pete Hegseth is doing roughly the same at the Pentagon and CIA is, effectively, dissolved. There is no other way. For decades, the FBI has had a horrifying impact on social thinking in U.S. and this impact was based not on intellectual phobias, rather on specific cases.
On the other hand, the total disclosure of all secrets starting from JFK’s assassination will have few practical benefits. But who would not want to see the Epstein files, learn the details of LSD testing on humans (the FBI has its ears sticking out of this story without any disclosures) and other dirty secrets of the elites and ‘the deep state’? The whole world would prefer to do so.
If Patel’s initiatives are fully implemented (if he gets through, roughly speaking), the American society will face even more drastic changes than the economic restructuring after the introduction of fees. The leftist agenda can be eliminated only by reforming the framework supporting it – from the academic people to the FBI. And the Bureau itself is not just the main target, but the key tool in doing this.
For example, Trump promised to begin criminal action against representatives of academia who actively supported Hamas at campuses and harassed Jewish students. Who will investigate it? Patel’s reforms at the FBI are not a technical improvement such as cost optimization, rather a change of the whole paradigm.
Opponents blame Patel for not having significant administrative track record. But he has experience in countering drug trafficking and organized ethnic crime, as Miami-Dade county has plenty of both.
The refocusing of ‘the renewed’ FBI to fighting against major crimes also means rethinking the very meaning of such crimes. The existence of ethnic crime will have to be recognized and the BLM movement left on the ash heap of history. Paedophilia is part of high-level organized crime, this also has to be admitted, although such a view has been officially considered dangerous conspiracy before recently, with those sharing this view usually mocked at.
This ‘return to normalcy’ can really work and stabilise the social setting in U.S., where people did anything else but address real issues in the recent decades.
Many of the new FBI director’s remarks look scandalous indeed. But the clamour will soon fade and from the federal monster serving elites the FBI will again turn to its initial function, being the tool to investigate federal crimes. Or, it will get back to normalcy. If they need a guy writing tales about Donald the King and a wizard to do this, then let it be so. Maybe, only a person like this can do it.
